WHAT IS SUGARING?
Sugaring is a gentler, safer method of hair removal for all parts of the body. It is effective on all
skin types & hair textures for both men & women.
WHY IS SUGARING MORE EXPENSIVE THAN WAX?
* It's more labor intensive than waxing. Waxing is, slap it on, rip
it off! With sugar, you work it into the skin, then flick it off.
* It can take more time to perfom a service
* The cost of sugar to the esthetician
is 4 to 5 times the amount vs. a can of wax!
UNIQUE SUGAR PRODUCT
The sugaring paste used is a blend of natural ingredients, sugar, water and lemon-juice. There are no
chemical additives so there is no fear of any harmful side effects. The application of the sugar will remove
dead skin cells leaving the skin soft, silky & healthy.

YOUR APPOINTMENT
Hair growth need not exceed 1/8” to be removed. (If you shave,
between 7 & 9 days is sufficient.)
PREPARING YOUR SKIN FOR YOUR TREATMENT
Please do not use a razor or depilatory creams between appointments, this
will interfere with your goal to refine & diminish your hair growth. Also, ingrown hairs can become a problem when
one shaves on a regular basis. (If ingrown hairs are a problem,
please let me know immediately, I can make this problema thing of the past!) Regularly hydrating & exfoliating
your skin between sugaring treatments is just as important as receiving treatment. You will receive the best results
if your skin is healthy.
FACES
If required, to quickly
reduce redness in this area, either have me apply a Hungarian Wellness Mud mask immediately following treatment or apply
it at your home with "Mud Puddle Hungarian Wellness Mud". You may develop a few white pustules in
this area following your 1st & 2nd treatments. This can be treated & even prevented by soaking a cotton
pad in a mixture of "Saltspring" to half cup of cool/lukewarm water.
SALTSPRING
Dead Sea Salts exfoliates & smoothes the skin & is traditionally
calming, detoxifying & very soothing. When combined with sweet almond oil, it makes an excellent dead skin exfoliant.
MUD
PUDDLE
Hungarian Wellness Mud detoxifies &
revitalizes the skin & is excellent for all skin types & conditions ranging from acne treatment to cellulite.
This high quality, versatile mud comes in a dry form & blends easily to a rich, smooth creamy paste by adding water.
MAXIMIZE RESULTS
You'll want to establish a routine so that each treatment works more
effectively towards the diminishment of your hair. Since the best age to start is at puberty, we encourage you to influence
your daughters to start Sugaring instead of shaving.
SUN
TANNING
Regular sugaring treatments
will actually enhance and brighten your tan. Your skin may sunburn more easily immediately following a sugaring treatment
due to dead skin cell exfoliation. Wait 24 hours before exposing your skin to the sun, infra red lamps or solarium.
You should not receive a sugaring treatment on an area where your skin is sun burned.
IRRITANTS
Do not use perfumed soap or products with chemical irritants on sugared areas within 24 hours of
your treatment. Do not apply deodorant to underarms for 12 hours after a sugaring treatment. We recommend that
you avoid make-up for 12 hours following a facial sugaring treatment. Mineral make-up is an exception.
MENSTRUATION
I suggest that you do not schedule your appointments 1 week prior to your
menstrual cycle, as you may be more sensitive. However, many of my clients do, if sensitivity is not an issue. If
you are menstruating, don't let that stop you from making an appointment. (Would you cancel a trip because Mother
Nature called? Nope, your travel bag would include a box of tampons!) C'est La Vie!
SKIN SPOTTING
Tiny red spots may appear on the skin for a few hours maybe longer, everyone is different.
If this should happen, do not be alarmed. This is a natural reaction caused when a hair is removed by the root.
It will disappear quickly. The bigger the root, the bigger the spot. As your hair becomes refined, the spots will
become smaller.
FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT
TYPES OF HAIR REMOVAL?
Below is a description of the most popular types of hair removal.
* Classic Bikini - Removes all hair outside of the
panty line.
* A little more off...bikini - Leaves a vertical or triangular shape on the vaginal
area. Hair is not removed from the labia or behind the tush.
* Playboy Bikini -
A very narrow strip is left in the vaginal area. All hair is removed from the labia and the tush. Named after the models
appearing in "Playboy" magazine.
* Brazilian or Full Monty Bikini - All hair is removed
from front to back. Everything is bald.
(Please note, if you prefer another style, just ask.)
WILL THIS SERVICE HURT?
The first time sugaring, especially the bikini area, will
be uncomfortable. However, if you keep up with your appointments (every 4 to 5 weeks), your hair will grow thinner in
time and it won't be as painful as the the first time. Please note, any form
of hair removal will be painful, including laser!
